Cliff and multi-pitch climbing
Discover the rock, progress on routes adapted to your level, or commit to a multi-pitch route: climbing in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques offers an exceptional learning ground.
The rock as your playground
In the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, cliff climbing flourishes on varied and preserved sites. Compact limestone in Arudy, spectacular schist at the Mâture, dizzying conglomerates in nearby Riglos, Aragon: each sector has its own personality, texture, and atmosphere. Étienne selects the site that matches your level, your desires, and the day’s conditions.
Whether you’re looking to discover the activity, progress technically, or tackle a multi-pitch route, the coaching remains the same: educational, attentive, safety-focused, and relaxed in atmosphere.

Do I need to have climbed before?
No, discovery climbing is open to complete beginners. Étienne teaches knots, belaying, and movement techniques at the foot of the route.
What is the difference between climbing and multi-pitch?
In discovery climbing, you climb a single pitch (15-25 m) and come back down to the start. In multi-pitch, you link several successive pitches, climbing progressively higher, and the descent is done by rappelling or via a hiking trail.
