Canyon du Canceigt —
Dynamic Level
The Canceigt canyon is a sporty and fun course. Varied jumps, fast slides, and abseiling under waterfalls: a cocktail of pure energy.
Ossau's Sporty Playground
The Canceigt features a continuous series of obstacles. Fast slides carved into the rock, jumps from 3 to 6 meters, deep pools with turquoise reflections: it’s a short but intense canyon, particularly popular with groups of friends and families with teenagers.
A Non-Stop Thrilling Course
The descent alternates between narrow, constricted sections where the water accelerates, and wide pools where you can catch your breath between technical passages. The Canceigt requires a bit more agility than the Bious: you need to know how to gauge your jump, manage swimming in a light current, and sometimes commit to a slide whose exit you can’t see.
Étienne provides precise briefings before each obstacle, indicating landing angles, areas to avoid, and proper jumping positions. This technical guidance makes all the difference: you progress quickly and gain confidence.
Who is this canyon for?
The Canceigt is for sporty individuals, both beginners and experienced. Sporty teenagers love it, and groups of friends find the intensity they’re looking for. It’s also an excellent canyon for those who want to confirm their level before tackling Soussouéou or Bitet.

What's the difference with the Bious?
The Canceigt has more continuous action, requires more physical engagement, and offers higher jumps. It’s the logical next step for anyone who enjoyed the Bious and wants to step up their game. But it remains accessible for beginners.
Do you need to be very athletic?
Good general physical fitness is sufficient. No need to be an athlete: you mainly need to be comfortable in the water and able to stay focused for 2 hours.
